I found an original stock for my bolt action single shot Nylon 10 but its pretty pricey. Does anyone have even a clue of what my model 10 would be worth if I invested in this stock. According to the seller this is an original stock for a model 10 and my action and barrel are in excellent condition. This was my first rifle and I would like to restore it but I hate to put a ton of dollars into it if is was only worth $200 after restoration. In that case I would rather find something not original but close enough to work to make it shootable again. If it was worth say north of $500 then I might consider it because it might someday be worth what the stock costs and I can always use another .22

Too much. It will be a long time before gun is worth that. I would offer him $450 And let it go. Jay
