From what I’ve read, it seems numbers starting with 794 might be from 1947-1948?

You seem to be the expert so I hope you don’t mind me asking for your assistance also. Here are pictures of my late, father in law’s model 11 12 ga. I’m trying to find its age. I’d appreciate any info you can give me.
